Get to know me better…

  • I experienced the power of it after my very first class.

As a bereaved mother, 2 years into my journey, I tried anything and everything that offered any semblance of peace. Many things helped to take the edge off — but only for a bit.

Skeptically, I participated in JourneyDance™ at a retreat for grieving mothers. It immediately penetrated my soul and released emotions that I was unaware were even present.

The immediate and deep relief I felt following the dance fostered my ability to go deeper into my trauma therapy work.

I instantly knew I had been called to become a Guide to facilitate this healing force, helping others in similar situations.

  • My song choices are as versatile as my interests!

My favorite song to dance to depends on the day and my mood.

I have a penchant for dancing to songs with familiar lyrics and I often sing along as I move my way through the space.

Instrumental music has the power to lull me into a thoughtless state, allowing my body to take over.

At this very moment, I am obsessed with the instrumental versions of “Dreams” by the Cranberries.

It offers me the sensation of floating with the familiarity of some yummy memories from the past.

  • Creative, Open, and Loving.

Devoid of judgment, I aim to always create safe, authentic spaces for those I share time with.

  • "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams." — Eleanor Roosevelt

  • Dancing allows the body to express what lies unseen and unspoken.

Practicing JourneyDance™ with my eyes closed and no mirrors frees me from self-judgment.

JourneyDance™ is the most effective healing tool I have engaged in on my healing journey.

It’s the perfect compliment to my trauma therapy, as it allows me to open my heart and subconscious to go deeper and evolve.

I often describe it as a cross between dance and yoga! You get the benefits of a dance party with friends and the emotional peace of a spa day.

“I see dancing being used as communication between body and soul, to express what is too deep to find for words.” — Ruth St. Denis
